Don’t trust, verify
Bitcoin culture says “don’t trust, verify.” A bank statement requires trusting the bank; a blockchain ledger is the same copy for everyone, so you can check it yourself. Your window is the explorer.
Mobick has two official explorers:
| Address | Best for |
|---|---|
| blockchain.mobick.info | Live blocks, transactions, mempool and fees. This site’s live data comes from here. |
| explorer.mobick.info | Addresses, blocks and transactions, plus supply and UTXO statistics. |
Ask it yourself
Enter a block height, block hash, transaction ID (64 characters) or address. This browser asks the explorer directly.
Enter anything. This browser asks blockchain.mobick.info directly — nothing passes through this site’s server.
Look up a block and keep pressing “Previous” to walk back along the chain. At block #1 you reach the 19,687,503.125 BMB block that carried the old balances during New Bedford.
Three things worth verifying
Do the public goods exist?
The 16 public-goods addresses are published. “Public-goods wallet 1” shows 1,000,000 BMB; “wallet 16” shows a balance growing by 3.125 BMB per block. Add all 16 and compare with the published total — that is what the vault in the public-goods lesson does.
Is supply following the rules?
explorer.mobick.info shows total BMB issued and the number of UTXOs. Right now:
Did my deposit arrive?
A screenshot of a “sent” screen is not proof. Get the transaction ID and look it up, or look up your own address for the balance and confirmations. A confirmed status with a block number means it is on the ledger.
Summary
- The explorer is your window into the ledger: blockchain.mobick.info and explorer.mobick.info.
- Look up blocks, transactions and addresses to verify public goods, supply and deposits yourself.
- Screenshots are not proof; check the transaction ID and confirmations.

Q1What can an explorer tell you about an address?
The ledger holds addresses and amounts only — not owners or keys.
-
Q2The surest way to check the public goods exist?
The addresses are public, so anyone can check. This site’s vault does exactly that.
