MOVN — a BMB-backed token aiming at one dollar

In one sentence

MOVN is a BMB-collateralised utility token, received by depositing BMB at the council price, aiming at a reference value of one dollar per MOVN. It lives on BSC and swaps with USDT on Uniswap.

What backs it

• BMB collateral — deposit BMB at the council price and receive that much MOVN; e.g. 1 BMB at a $200 council price gives 200 MOVN. It is designed to swap back to BMB at the same council price.
• 5× redemption support — a protocol reserve backs redemptions up to five times the BMB first deposited. The reference holds even if BMB falls to 20% of the deposit price; below that, actual BMB supports a floor. The 10-Mo lesson’s figure shows it.
• A human oracle — the reference price is set by council voting (Mon/Wed/Sat noon), not an exchange. You computed it in the governance lesson.

In February 2026 Oh said MOVN does not insist on a 1:1 peg: unlike stablecoins welded to the dollar, it is a value-stabilising token that aims at one dollar. The official site states plainly it is not a principal-protected product or a deposit.

Where it is used

• MobickOne — WBMB↔MOVN swaps. Community guides say WBMB→MOVN settles at the next council-price update, at that rate, and cannot be cancelled once requested.
• Uniswap on BSC — MOVN–USDT and WBMB–MOVN pools. Many other pools exist for the same pairs; check token addresses.
• The 10-Mo Miracle — converting 10 WBMB to MOVN with a bonus above $200. Paper-wallet holders receive MOVN monthly for a year from October 2026, funded “by USDT actually secured.”
• Partner business — August 2026 weekly news described MOVN rewards for overseas investors trading Korean financial products on chain via a partner.
