Why practice coins
Blockchain transfers cannot be undone. A beginner who slips with real Mobick simply loses it. So Mobick first let people practise with coins they could afford to lose.

What LTM taught
LTM let people mine blocks on a laptop at home; a community-channel host said they had succeeded a few times. Soon, though, people with professional rigs and rented cloud servers flooded in, and the operators upgraded and blocked them again and again. On 20 September 2025 Oh said: “LTM is a game. Don’t take a game seriously.”
It was not wasted. In an August 2026 members-only stream Oh said LTM showed how much people want to mine at home, which became the starting point for home mining. It also taught that algorithms alone cannot keep big miners out — hence home mining is guarded “by people, not the algorithm.”
What ends on 31 October
MOVL is not part of this shutdown, but it lives on Base, which is being wound down as Mobick’s EVM activity consolidates on BSC. Watch for official guidance.

The MOTE and LTM networks and related games such as LTM Chess and LTM Janggi close on October 31, 2026. Swap any MOTE and LTM you hold into BMB before then; swaps stop when the networks stop.
