Why it waited
Many projects make a listing their first goal. Mobick did the opposite. In the 21 December 2023 stream “Why we are not listing,” Oh Taemin gave three reasons:
- Philosophical — Bitcoin came before exchanges; a listing cannot be the goal.
- Moral — listing costs end up borne by the people who buy the coin.
- Practical — tax issues.
Instead Mobick let a P2P market give it value, and once that market existed it listed on LBank as BMB/USDT on 25 November 2024. In December 2025 it restated that it would not pay for large listing campaigns.
Between LBank and your wallet
LBank is an overseas exchange; accounts and identity checks follow its rules. Enter passwords and codes only on LBank’s own pages. This site recommends no exchange and no investment. The weekly news reported that from 28 January 2026 overseas exchange apps were blocked on Google Play in Korea, so check the rules where you live.
The numbers that matter (checked September 2026):
| Withdrawal network | Mobick mainnet (mobick) only |
| Withdrawal fee | 0.015 BMB, minimum 0.01 BMB |
| Withdrawal arrival | visible in your wallet after 1 confirmation |
| Deposit | shown at 1 confirmation, credited at 2 (about 20 minutes) |
The official docs recommend self-custody wallets for long-term holding. When withdrawing, make sure the address is your BMB address in the BTCMobick wallet — Mobick and Bitcoin addresses look identical.
Count confirmations yourself
How long is “two confirmations” really? Count with the live Mobick mainnet. Pressing the button counts as sending; each new block adds one.

Five minutes in with no block yet: On average, how much longer?
Explainer How my transaction gets confirmed
1 / 5 · Send
Press Send — Within seconds the transaction reaches the nodes’ waiting pool (mempool). Still 0 confirmations.
2 / 5 · 1 conf
A miner puts it in a block: 1 confirmation — Blocks come about every 10 minutes on average
3 / 5 · 2 conf
One more block on top: 2 confirmations — Needing 2 confirmations means about 20 minutes on average
4 / 5 · Predict
Five minutes after sending, still no block. Until the next one…?
Think first, then show the answer
Answer: about 10 more minutes on average.
Finding a block is a fresh lottery every time — so waiting doesn’t bring it closer — still about 10 minutes on average
Real gaps are uneven — one minute, or more than twenty — they only average 10

- Send. When you press Send, within seconds the transaction reaches the nodes' waiting pool, the mempool. It isn't on the ledger yet, so it has no confirmations.
- 1 conf. When a miner puts it in a block, it gets one confirmation. Blocks come about every ten minutes on average.
- 2 conf. One more block on top makes two confirmations. So needing two confirmations means about twenty minutes, on average.
- Predict. Your turn to predict. Five minutes after sending, there's still no block. On average, how much longer until the next one? Answer: about 10 more minutes on average. Finding a block is a fresh lottery every time, so waiting doesn't bring it any closer. It's still about ten minutes on average. And real gaps are uneven. Sometimes one minute, sometimes more than twenty. They only average ten.
- So. So, about twenty minutes is only an average. Sometimes it's minutes, sometimes over forty. Count real blocks just below.
The narration is synthesized speech.

- 22 confirmations · LBank credits it

This counts real Mobick mainnet blocks. Press the button and every new block adds one confirmation. One block takes about 10 minutes, so two confirmations take roughly 20.
Outside exchanges: P2P
Mobick’s first trades were between people, not on exchanges. It began with direct trades in KakaoTalk chat rooms; then Chunsim’s errand service started matching buyers and sellers. Mobick Mania and Mobick Market followed, and Mobick Market later renamed itself Unblock. Unblock has since closed; Mobick Mania is still running. Trades also happen at Mobick halls nationwide.
Venues like Mobick Mania hold the coins in a multisig while the trade happens, so the coin side is built to be safe. The risk sits off-chain, in the bank accounts the won moves through. Laundered money did reach Mobick Mania and Mobick Market, and many users had their accounts frozen at once — an honest seller can lose access to their account.
Summary
- Mobick did not aim for a listing; it built P2P value first and listed on LBank on 25 November 2024.
- LBank withdrawals use the Mobick mainnet only (fee 0.015 BMB); deposits clear after two confirmations (~20 min).
- Since February 2026 the plan is to list WBMB-family EVM tokens.
- P2P: small first, check confirmations, never trade paper wallets.

Q1Which was NOT one of the reasons Oh gave in December 2023 for not rushing to list?
He gave philosophical, moral and practical (tax) reasons, not a technical one. Mobick then listed on LBank on 25 November 2024.
-
Q2When can you use BMB deposited to LBank?
It shows after one confirmation and is credited after two. Mobick blocks average ten minutes, so roughly twenty.
-
Q3Trading a large amount P2P with someone new — the best habit?
Blockchain transfers cannot be undone. A small test is the cheapest insurance.
